Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Prob.: LevelOne WNC 0601 and def gateway/uTorrent

I have a problem and I don't exactly know where the problem is. I tried some error testing and came up with some answers but not enough the fix the problem.

System Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
System Manufacturer: None, home build
System Model: P5QC
BIOS: BIOS Date: 04/27/09 14:59:08 Ver: 08.00.14
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8192MB RAM
Page File: 1892MB used, 8297MB available
VGA Card: Asus GTX260
WLAN Card: LevelOne WNC 0601
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

What is the problem:

1. If I am downloading with uTorrent, the computer freezes (or stays in a short loop, music is looping in like 1 sec)
2. I run a static IP but the computer does not keep the default gateway settings

What I have done so far.

For problem 1,
I dropped the Global maximum connections to 80 and the maximum connected peers/torrent to 150. This will prolong the time it takes for the computer to freeze. The computer will freeze in like 1 to 4 hours and before it freezes in like 4 minutes. So I suspect it has something to do with the number of connections my computer makes (I did not have this problem in XP 64 bit). I did not do this in XP and it does slow my download speeds. Maybe this is a issue for uTorrent but I think it is useful to post it because maybe it is connected to problem 2.

For Problem 2,
I have not done much to fix this problem because I donīt know how. Every time is restart the computer, the default gateway turns blank, no just blank. But! If I restart in safe mode, the default gateway remains. So my idea was that maybe some program is causing this. Maybe the LevelOne software is in conflict with the windows wlan manager but the software comes in bundle with the driver. There is no option to only install the driver and let windows do the work.

I also tried to use the windows 7 wlan driver but that one does not work.

At last my static IP settings:
IP adres:
Subnet Mask:
Default gateway: (this is the one that turns blank to . . . .
Preferred DNS server:
Alternate DNS server:

I have sent my DX diag as attaced file maybe it is needed for more info. If I can provide any other info I would be willing to give it. I am trying to fix this for like 2 weeks now and I have done anything in my power to fix this.

I also browsed the internet for the problems but the solutions provided there does not work.
