Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter Hello!
I have this USB wireless stick so I can connect to wireless Internet.
I have a problem, though with this stick.
It automatically disconnects and I have to restart my computer to let it work again. Wireless-G USB Compact USB Network Adapter (WUSB54GC) (Not click-able)
Could someone please help me to fix this problem as it's getting pretty annoying.
System specs is below (click the arrow)

You can try updating the firmware and driver by visiting here.
If you're connecting to a router that isn't so close or you are not getting a great signal, that could be the cause instead. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS 7600.20510 x86 CPU P4 550 3.4 GHz HT running at 3.5 GHz Motherboard MSI PM8M3-V (MS-7211 v1.x) Micro-ATX mainboard Memory OCZ 2 GB(2x1GB) DDR400mHz running @ 414 mHz Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo HDMI Dual DL-DVI AGP Sound Card MOTU Traveler firewire studio interface 192 kHz 24 bit Monitor(s) Displays 22" widescreen Acer X223W LCD, 17" Compaq P75 CRT Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitch Classical Keyboard 200 Mouse Logitech Mediaplay cordless PSU 350W generic Case Cybertronpc, it glows blue Cooling stock cpu fan, Ice-Q 3 gpu and system, many case fans Hard Drives SATA I x2 WD, 400 GB and 120 GB, SATA 2 WD Caviar Black 1 TB Internet Speed 1792/448 kbits/sec Other Info SATA II PCI fake RAID adapter, 1 GB Readyboost, original ATI Remote Wonder (even works with WMC perfectly), Logitech Rumblepad 2 game controller x2 |

I tried those, but I don't know if I have v. 1 or v3 as its not listed on my adapter.
Tried both, and still no luck. The v. 3 installer gives me an error, and v.1 just doesn't work. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth Memory Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 2133MHz 4GB Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 6990 Monitor(s) Displays BenQ 24" LCD G2411HD x 3 with Eyefinity Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Razer TRON Mouse Roccat Kone PSU Fractal Design Newton R2 800W Case Antec NineFractal Design Define R3 Black Perl Cooling Noctua NH-C14 Hard Drives Western Digital CaviarŽ GreenPower 1TB

My brain must not have been functioning too well when dealing with this thread for you, previously.
Here's how to fix it:
Go into the router's config page for DHCP. Set the lease timeout period to the maximum allowed. Reboot your computer and the router, after. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS 7600.20510 x86 CPU P4 550 3.4 GHz HT running at 3.5 GHz Motherboard MSI PM8M3-V (MS-7211 v1.x) Micro-ATX mainboard Memory OCZ 2 GB(2x1GB) DDR400mHz running @ 414 mHz Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo HDMI Dual DL-DVI AGP Sound Card MOTU Traveler firewire studio interface 192 kHz 24 bit Monitor(s) Displays 22" widescreen Acer X223W LCD, 17" Compaq P75 CRT Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitch Classical Keyboard 200 Mouse Logitech Mediaplay cordless PSU 350W generic Case Cybertronpc, it glows blue Cooling stock cpu fan, Ice-Q 3 gpu and system, many case fans Hard Drives SATA I x2 WD, 400 GB and 120 GB, SATA 2 WD Caviar Black 1 TB Internet Speed 1792/448 kbits/sec Other Info SATA II PCI fake RAID adapter, 1 GB Readyboost, original ATI Remote Wonder (even works with WMC perfectly), Logitech Rumblepad 2 game controller x2 Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter problems?
