How To Share Internet Connection With iPhone
I travel quite a bit and would like to use iPhone via WiFi, but usually hotel rooms only have LAN connection.
2 months ago I was able to setup a ad-hoc connection between my netbook and iPhone, and iPhone accessing the Internet. But today I tried again but failed - I was able to use iPhone to join the ad-noc network but iPhone cannot access the Internet. (for example, when I tried the Google site, iPhone shows the turning circle with the word "connecting")
The steps I used are:
1. Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Netwrok and SHaring Center
2. Setup a Connection or Network
3. Setup a wireless ad-hoc network
4. Enter SSID and use WPA2-Personal
5. Turn on Internet connection sharing.
I appreciate your help and advice.
