Holy shit, you are a lifesaver r600mura! I've tried so many different ideas on the Internet to get this card running, and yours finally worked! What a bizarre solution. Every other driver gave me error code 10, but this worked flawlessly and now I can finally detect wireless networks. Thank you!

i know this thread is super old but i just spent the last 2 hours trying to get my wmp54g wireless card to work when i stumbled upon this thread and it WORKED like a charm. all this time i was looking for ralink chipset drivers when it was indeed broadcom. go figure.

just wanted to give credit where it was deserved despite the age of this thread! just goes to show that knowledge is never too old!

    thanks!

I was given a WMP54G V1 card by a friend, and struggled to locate drivers as well.

Using the method outlined in this post, the card is now working faultlessly.

Worked for me too, one year+ since the last post!
