The speed of my Local Area Connection is : 100.0 Mpbs.
Here`s the problem.
The most frequent download speed I get from (Steam, IDM or Browser downloads) ranges 100-120 KB/s.
But sometimes I get about a speed ranges 900 KB/s or even 1MB/s higher.
Can someone tell me how can I make it stay with 900 KB/s?
If your connection is 100Mbps then you should get downloads of 12MB/s. However, I think you are mistaking LAN connection speed with the speed you are getting from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). You can only increase Internet download by switching to a better Internet plan from your ISP.
LAN speed is the speed you can get while communicating with other local PCs that are wired to the router.
Here I got 0.98 Mbps = 0.1225 MBps =980 kbps.
But I only get this maximum speed of 140 kpbs.
Any way to fix this?
you are getting Correct speeds..
The speed test showing results in mega bits per second..
IDM is showing speeds in Megabytes per second.
1 megabyte = 8 megabits.
ISPs make us fool by stating their speeds in bits instead of bytes
If your SpeedTest is normal, (95% of the time) it is a connectivity issue with that particular site. I sometimes get slow speeds to these sites myself too even though download is 100Mbps. It may be due to congested routes, overloaded servers etc.

But still why I get 900kbps sometimes. And have tried it on the same time its happening but dont work.
What does your contract with your ISP say?
These are all almost same (give or take)
900 Kbps <=> 125 KB/s <=> 1 Mbps <=> 0.125 MB/s
kilobits----------kilobytes------megabits-----megabytes
1 byte = 8 bits
1 megabyte = 1024 kilobyte
I checked the status under system on 192.168.1.1 and on DSL it says.
Upstream speed= 637 kbps
Downstream speed= 15583 kbps
Operational status= G992.5
If you believe it is working slower than it should, talk to your ISP's technical service first. The download speeds you are getting are consistent with each other.
