can't access network device normally? weird access ...

Hello : I can't access network device normally ? It is a internet power switch . For example if I type in 192.168.1.5/20000 , I can access the device . But with 192.168.1.5:20000 gives no access . Ideas , If I could get the latter to work , I would be golden .. thanks .

Yes if I type in 192.168.1.5/20000 I connect no problem , then I have the option of changing the port and switching on the relays in the device . What is the difference in connecting to the ports with the / compared to the : . I have always used the : up till now .. Thanks for your help ..

http://192.168.1.5:20000 connects to the page through the port 20000.
Whereas http://192.168.1.5/20000 is a page named 20000 and connects through port 80 by default.

See the attached pictures . I'm trying to get that switch addressable from outside my local network . I changed the port to 30000 , to see if that made any difference ..

That doesn't look like a port number at all. That page in your screenshot if it was port 30000, it should have been:
    http://192.168.1.5:30000/login
At least that is my understanding, I will see what others will say about this.
