Access network drive

Seagate - BlackArmor 1TB External USB 2.0 Network Storage Server - ST310005MNA

So i plan on getting that Network Drive. Is there a way i can access it from anywhere over the internet without the pogo service or any other service, or if anything, a free service?

yes free service called team viewer. Your problem may come if the HD or computer it is attached to hangs.
I use team viewer to access, move files, control desktop, etc.

But will it be able to work like I want it to.

What i want is like to access my network drive anywhere as if it was a drive that was mapped to all computers. Without software installed on the computer i want to access it from.

What im trying is to say i go traveling which i am soon, I want to be able to access my network drive from states away as if i was connected to my home network.
