    Remove homegroup password


    I have a Win7 and a Win10 pc in a homegroup and I can share files etc.

    I would like to demo to my mate how to set up a home network. How do I delete passwords etc and set everything back to square one, so I can show him how to set up a network ? If I switch from home to public and back, the password is still effective.

    You could leave the homegroup on each PC to start over.

    Homegroup - Leave

    Afterwards, create a homegroup on one PC, then john the homegroup on the other PC.

    Homegroup - Create

    Homegroup - Add Computer or Join

I'm running a LAN with several computers (3 windows flavors + Linux), Ethernet and WiFi. This Windows-7 computer keeps telling me that my Homegroup password has changed -- although everything still seems to work. _I_ never changed it! Is it possible some virus did so? The "Network and Sharing...

i am trying to set up a home group to be able to share my printer and files i cant find the home group password as windows never showed any password when i reinstalled (windows 7) all i get is a blank password box and no way of getting the password HELP
I installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and I also have a desktop running Windows 7. I am trying to connect my laptop to my homegroup with the password for my homegroup, but my desktop will not reveal it. Is there any other place that I can find it? Thanks in advance for your help. theAdmiral
