Chrome or Firfox with Win 7 pro

IE 11 is such a dog I have read that the new IE 12 will require Win 10 I do not want Win so am looking to switch to either Chrome or Firefox. Are these browser good with most site? Youtube Firefox Ebay Facebook sites that require flash player to watch anime etc?
Which is better to use with Win 7 64 pro? How do I completely get rid of IE and switch to one of the other browsers? Please move if wrong section ANY help would be great Thank you

I like Chrome. And you cannot get rid of IE. It is an integral part of the system and some system functions require it.
