retrieving wifi password without admin rights

I have a wifi network saved on a laptop that I don't know the password too, I don't have admin rights on that device.

I thought I had cracked the solution..

I exported the wifi profile on that laptop using netsh command which gave me an xml file with a coded pass phrase inside it, I put that xml on a usb, copied it to another laptop which has admin rights, imported the profile, it showed up under saved networks, clicked connect and it prompted for the password still grr!

Anyone got any other ideas to do this?

The password will be on the side of the hub, or with the paperwork you recieved from your ISP, Admin rights are not required.
