Faster file transfer between two laptops joined to a homegroup(win 7)?

Hi to all,
I have connected my two laptops(with win 7 os) via ad hoc network and joined them to a homegroup.
I am trying to transfer some files with an amount of 30 gigs approximately, but the process of the file transfer between the laptops is very very slow (816 KB/s).How can I make that process faster?
Please answer to me!
Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!
