    2 sharing issues

    Hi,
    I have 3 computers at home:

    • Computer1 (desktop computer with windows 7);
    • Computer2 (laptop computer with windows 7);
    • Computer3 (laptop computer with windows vista);

    Im trying to create a homegroup but I cant.
    Computer2 can find the Computer1 but the Computer1 cant find the computer2 (into the homegroup) but they can find each other without problems into NETWORK....

    How do I advanced share one folder from computer1 to computer2 without the access permission of computer3?

    Thanks dudes

    Your Vista machine cannot join the Homegroup cos only w7s can. People have issues with sharing files from Pcs in a w7 Homegroup to a non w7 machine and i don't know if there is any answer for it.

    If you just want to share files and folders, just do the sharing the old conventional way. Just create shares as you would in XP.

    Network Discovery is a feature that when you turn it on, all machines that are on your network can be seen and you allow them to see you.

    Control Panel > Homegroup> click Change advance sharing settings.

    Otherwise just check by click on Marcos ==== Internet

    Hang on reading your first post again:

    "Computer2 can find the Computer1 but the Computer1 cant find the computer2"

    Are u meaning to say, when you create Homegroup from Computer 1, Computer 2 can join that Homegroup? Becos you are not talking about being on the Network?
