Flash drive data statistics when connected as network device

    Win7 + Netgear Nighthawk AC1900

I have a flash drive plugged into my router. File explorer sees the flash drive a Network device. When I right click on the drive, properties to see space used/space remaining same displays 0's vs. what I would see if I did the same on a flash drive inserted directly to my machine.

Is there way to see the free/used space?

Nope it's an AC1900. The model is really irrelevant. I believe the defining difference is whether the flash drive is plugged to the computer from which you're opening file explorer vs plugged into a device categorized by explorer under its network category.

I also have the 1900, the model is R7000. The speed of its wifi is up to 1900. You have to map the share to a drive letter to make it show you that info. This is with a flash drive I stuck in it that has windows ten on it.
