    Laptop built in wireless

Hi there I have a Fujitsu Seimens Laptop that had Windows Vista init Dual Core proccessor now it has built in wireless which you have to press FN key plus F1 to activate the wireless each restart but not working but I was told anything that worked with Vista would work on Windows 7 could anyone help me cause I would rather use my built in wireless than this USB dongle.

I went to device manager and checked that there was no error reported but everything looks fine it states it is installed and working correctly if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it

The wireless adaptor is (Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adaptor)

If you require more information let me know thanks.

Hmm...I tried to install Launch Manager yesterday on Windows 7 beta och that thing wont even start...God knows why...its the Vista version of course, and I've read the same thing...anything VISTA will be fine in windows 7...right, we'll just see about that...I've got a creepy feeling...

However, I'm running on a Fuijutsi too, an Amilo...and yes, WIFI buttons work fine in Vista...thats about the only thing that works fine in Vista!

But I will see what i can do...there must be a solution...I Hope

Ill give you the direct link I had which worked fine for me my version is a AMILO LI2727 make sure your version is correct for the appropriate download.

EDITED: You can find your version under your laptop printed will be AMILO then a letter and number combination or just a letter

Downloads - Support - Fujitsu Siemens Computers

I find if you uninstall what you have and get the latest version you might get it to work as mine is running perfectly now let me know how you get on

Also, if you haven't done this already, try running the installation in compatibility mode
