If you search this forum for "sager np2740" you will get a feel for how many times you have been asked that question. There is a reason that this forum has a "My System Specs" section. You could avoid wasting members' time if you would just fill that info out. You can use this link http://www.sevenforums.com/profile.php?do=extra to update that info. However, you are probably correct in stating that the laptop model has nothing to do with this issue.


Download the manual for your modem/router/wireless access point combo and learn how to visit the interface where you change the "Wi-Fi" security key (what you are calling a password). [Hopefully, that interface will let you see the current security key.]

If the current security key has been changed, then someone got into the router and changed that key or something barfed within the router to cause a change.

If the current security key looks correct, then change the key anyway to get the router's attention. If you must, you can then change the key back to what it was.

You should also change the password that is used to access the router's settings.
