why plugging dlink nano wireless adapter does not allow shutdown of pc

    Hi,
Lately i have bought wireless dlink dwa 131 adapter for accessing wireless connection . My adapter of old realtek version does not support wireless and hence i bought.
Now i could able to connect to wireless thro, the pc to my laptop, etc.etc. Now the problem is like any ordinary usb, it does not close and allow shutting down of pc.
I tried all sorts of tricks, but if i select eject the usb adapter, like pendrive, then it is allowing shutting down. Why this behaviour.
Should i have to eject each time like pendrive to enable shut down or any other solution is available.
I tried to uncheck power management tab and unchecked the power save enable box in the concerned wireless adapter in device manager, and also to all the usb root hub. Still the problem persists.
Once ejecting the nano usb, pc is shutting down without hanging at shutting down. Otherwise, it is hanging always . why? I want a detailed explanation and solution from experts

Do you have the drivers off Dlink's site for it installed? D-Link Technical Support
