No problem connecting to ADSL but cannot connect to FIBRE

I have just had a fibre access point installed in my home. My desktop PC has no problem connecting via ethernet to the ADSL network. When I remove this cable from the ADSL router and connect it to to the FIBRE access point, I get nothing. Other PC's, desktops and laptops in the household have no problem connecting to the fibre network, just my desktop. Any suggestions. I have disabled Kaspersky on startup but clearly there is something else stopping the connection being made.

    Hi MadGall,
open device manager, Network adapter > Ethernet Controller any problem with it,
OR are there any Unknown devices.

Are you using the same Fiber port as one of the other devices? or is this a separate port? If you are using a separate port, try one of the ports that has a PC that is working.

There are no problems with any of the devices. I can connect to ADSL just fine. There are no unknown devices.

Right now, no one is connecting to fibre as I have not paid the subscription. Everyone is still connecting to the ADSL. The fibre is installed and just waiting for me to start a subscription, but I cannot keep both and as my computer is the main one and cannot connect, I'm not inclined to pay for a service I cannot use.
