msinfo32.exe shows no Network Adapter

I just got back from a vacation and on turning on my laptop, I noticed that I was unable to locate any wifi signals, and after a bit of searching I found to check msinfo32.exe and found a bunch of seemingly network related drivers unable to function due to a device not being able to be found, and in the network - adapter area I found no adapter present, does that ultimately mean my network adapter is broken? what should I do?

As you described, you have no WiFi. Normally laptops has a WiFi switch. Is it on?
How was the battery when you came back? Was your clock with a different hour / date? Asking because some hardware are configured on BIOS. Does your BIOS has a Wireless Enable / Disable?

Yes, I have no wifi but among the list of problem devices on msinfo32.exe are things like ipv6tov4 drivers, bluetooth local area network, and a lot of other network-related drivers that all suffered from lack of function due to no adapter being located, any idea what's going on?

Before anything, this information might be extra and misleading but Yes, my wifi switch is on, and the hour was correct. My battery was out and I guess it should be noted that its almost at the point where it should be replaced. It lasts around 45 minutes disconnected from the charger, so over a 6 week vacation its possible it ran absolutely dry. I did change something in the BIOS maybe 3-5 weeks before I left for vacation because my laptop got a black screen when I attempted to start it up in the mode where it recovers from an unexpected shutdown (regular startup didnt work either).

I suspect that maybe your HDD has a fault. Make a backup of your files and run check disk.

Hello, my disk check came up having no errors, is it possible to have a broken network adapter and if so is it easily replaced? sorry to ask you but Admin won't let me keep this post this in the hardware section even though it is about hardware..

Open Device manager and look at Network Adapters. If the Wireless adapter isn't there it has probably failed. If it shows but with an alert, some drivers is missing.
I had a kind of WIFI problem and it was my firewall that was blocking access to the router.
You can buy a WIFI hardware (it is half the size of a gum stick) and replace. Easy, just open the laptop back cover. As they may be a little different in size, buy one equal of what you have.
