how to deploy WIN7 image to 80+ Workstations?

Let first start of by saying that I'm a young self taught IT Enthusiast that loves constructive criticism but please take it easy on me. After recently being hired on for an Entry Level IT position we are in the midst of setting up 80+ Workstations that run a VOIP program. The system will be 300UPnDown with a ClearOS firewall.
Project:
Setting up 80+ Workstations connected to the same switch running off a SuperMicro Server.
The IMAGE i'm creating using Audit and Sysprep with Group Policies will be extremely limited but also need to be able to somehow work with VNC. When creating the the IMAGE how should i go about creating something of this sort and what should i block for the employee to be limited? i have a few ideas but feel like i'm forgetting something. What is the best way to Deploy IMAGE ISO to the systems simultaneously?

Is it ok to image and deploy an installed OS after sysprep?
I am wondering if it is ok to run sysprep "Generalize & oobe" then image it with a software like Acronis or Macrium to deploy it on OEM PCs? I have been using Imagex to make images, but this would be faster for multiple versions of windows I think.
