WD NAS MyBookLive disappears off network once a week

I have a WD MyBookLive that disappears from the network every week. The sleep function has been turned off so that is not the problem. I had a power outage a month or so ago that knocked out my second WD NAS MyBookLive for four days. I got it back up, changed it's name, and it has been good from that point on. Two days later the first one dropped offline. I did factory reset, changed it's name hoping it would act like the other, but one week later it dropped off the network again. I have also had problems with the Playon Media Server staying on the network. For years it worked fine, then one day just disappeared completely. Replacing the modem/router brought it back up but I am convinced there has to be a problem somewhere in Windows 7 for both of these to all of a sudden start having problems with things staying connected that previously had no problems at all. Resetting MyBookLive is not a problem but it does get irritating having to do it once a week.
