Off Line Folders
Hi Guys - sorry if the post is in the wrong thread but I can't seem to find a revelvant heading for it.
I am preparing to re-format my Laptop and re-install everything onto it due to a number of issues that are casuing problems and it will be quicker to refrmat than to try and resolve them
Firstly what i plan to do is use the Sony recovery discs I made to bring the laptopn back to factory state - so i can keep all the extra programs etc that it orignally cam with and then install Win 7
My line of thinking is that this will be "sort of" a clean install??
Can any one advise me if this is acceptable or not or are that problems that this could cause
Secondley I have loads of Offline files from my work domain on here - is it ok to copy them over to a portible hard drive and once the machine is redone copy them back to it?
Would this cause any sync issues with my office server when I join it's domain?
Many thanks for any replies or help you can offer
