I have used it with 2 different wifi routers (Linksys and Asus),with 2 different IPS and with both the actuall speed will not go over 16 Mbps. If i connect using a cable to those routers I get speeds way over 54 Mbps.
I have the latest Windows 7 x64 drivers from windows update.
Does anyone have any ideea if there is anything wrong with my card or this is there a way to speed it up ?
Hi and welcome
Your speed is determined by many factors. It will say it is a 54mb link in task manager as that is the max, your speed is determined by distince interference, hardware, etc. When wired you should get at least 100Mb.
Remember these are the max's your isp is not giving you anyway near that so it doesnt make a lot of difference.
