Windows 7: Cisco vpn

Cisco vpn

Dell 1524, 4gb mem, Windows 7 home premium upgrade over vista. 32 Bit
When I upgrade all of my programs were installed. I use a company specific program called Maestro. It uses a Cisco VPN. The program has worked properly after win 7 clean install and about 50 % of the time after an upgrade.
At first the program would start and I would get a message that Driver “VSDATANT.SYS blocked not compatible contact Zone labs for update.” I do not have Zone Alarm installed and it has never been installed on this machine.
I contacted the software company and they State that VSDATANT.SYS is not part of their program but they have been getting reports of this error after an Windows 7 install. They had me remove the Maestro program and all traces of any Cisco VPN file. I have also gone into the firewall section and added all of the files to allow the program through the Windows firewall.
I then downloaded and tried to reinstall the program. The basic program installs and the VPN starts to install, then fails. “VPN CLIENT INSTALLATION failed to install VPN_INST.” Contact technical support”
At this point tech support has given up and suggested I uninstall windows 7. Windows 7 has really sped up my machine so I really do not want to do that.
Thanks in advance
