Ip Address Location Wrong

If you look below, you will see my "location", but really I live in Oregon (This would be nice speeds if I really were 1700 miles away).

So whats wrong? Windows 7's fault, or Speedtest.net's fault.

BTW How do I enable my signature?

Edit: I just looked up in another site, and it had my location wrong.

I'd suspect your ISP for pushing you through a node that distance from your home, as that's sometimes perfectly normal - or speedtest.net may have linked to an unreliable lookup service...

It would depend on your ISP.

Does your ISP use a proxy?

No. Don't think so. So this is my ISP's fault?

The location was right when I had Vista. Should I call my ISP?

I'd give your ISP a call on the off-chance that they can sort it. I can't think of anything that would cause the location to be incorrect in Windows 7 from Vista as your IP is assigned by your ISP and not Windows.

The server location is the location of the server you are testing too. not were you are testing from.
