I have a Laserjet 1220 PCL 5 printer attached to my desktop running Windows 7. It is an all-in-one that I use to print and scan. I have tried to share it with my laptop running xp and once I have it printing from the laptop, I can no longer scan from the 7. I had to set up the printer on my laptop as a local printer using the printer address on the 7 and it worked but I could no longer scan from the desktop. I reinstalled the driver
on the 7 and got the scanning capability back, but lost the ability to print from the laptop. Is this too confusing? Any help will be much appreciated.
