login problems with netdrives
I have problems opening network drives (D-Link DNS-323) that require a login.
Instead of just using the entered username Windows 7 adds the computer name as domain in front of the user-/login name in this scheme: Computer Name\Login Name
I suppose due to this domain addition the authentication fails because the network drive does not recognize the login name. At least the Windows login window always says that the (definitely correct) password is incorrect. If you check the box for saving the login information the explorer will allow to open the drive even though the authentication had failed.
But it is impossible to access the netdrive out of programs.
What can be done to fix this?
