It's not Microsoft, but here is your easy, seamless solution!!! Go to and create an account with your email address and a password. Download the free remote access and install it. You will be able to to to any computer, log in with your password and take control of your PC at home. It is the easiest thing in the world and it's FREE!!! I have set up friends and family with this and it's great for trouble shooting and teaching the 'computer challenged'.

Teamviewer is also free and no need to mess with routers etc. as it works thru a webpage.
