Wireless connection to un-secured router only

I just installed windows 7 on my home built system.

I have the WMP600N (linksys) card, and with any type of security set on my Cisco wireless router I get this: "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network"

Now if I remove all security settings then the dang thing works liek a champ.

Who needs security on their wireless network ...?

SO, I am certain that there are many of you who have run into this very error, what was your final outcome? Fixed? or just running without any security what so ever?

    Thanks

Would you mind informing the forum how you fixed it, it may be helpful to others who come along and have the same problem.

    IT was a sequence issue.

Connect without security then add security after a reboot - works fine.

Now onto the next issue swith this bugged to hell OS.

When ever there is fdisk I/O the mouse, sound, and video are interupted - great OS Way to go Microsoft.

I expected some issues with a new OS, but the basics seem to have been lost.
