    Windows 7 wifi and performances

Hello! sorry for my english i try the best.

I post this topic to speak about my problem. I decided to use windows 7 64bit and i upgraded it a week ago.

This windows is pretty cool; fast and elegant.
I use a wireless connection type.
But when i launch a game (counter strike 1.6) i got so much lag and my ping up to 200ms and i got a high loss of fps whereas with windows xp i never got this problems.
Few days ago i tried an utility like vista anti lag and this resolved my internet problem, it was called something like VGSCAN but i cant find this utility again. It disable wifiscan and is the only one which worked.
For my performances when i disable audiodg.exe the performaces are much better but i got no more sound.

I want to get some help to fix my wifi and performacnces problems.

My ethernet card is a 3c2000 form 3com and there is no drivers so i use a wirless pci card (HERCULES).

So if there is people who got same problems and solved them help me please.

    2go RAM

    Thanks

    Hi and welcome

You probably are using Homegroup and IPv6. IPv6 has been shown to hace some random connectivity issues like slowdowns, drops, and hard to connect issues. You can change from homegroup and IPv6 to workgroup and IPv4 which is older but more stabile. Look in netwrok and sharing for a new connection set it up as a workgroup and diasble the ipv6. I would as aalways ahave a backup in case you hose something.

It would also help if we knew about your hardware and network setup.
