getting high pings. only on my windows 7 installation

    i go to pingtest.net
and test the nearest server to me (Jerusalem)

on my pc with win 7 ultimate i get ping 520 which is extremely high.
if i test the ping on my vista or xp (installed in the same computer) i get pings from 14-20 on the same server!!!

also from other computers in my home i get low pings, also checked on
computer with exactly the same win 7 installed from the same disc and it works fine there.

    what could be the problem?
just to be honest, i patched the tcpip file so i can get more than 10 half-open
connections. i don't remember if i applied it to my other computer with the same win 7.

is there a way of restoring this file from the installation disc?
or maybe from the other win 7 installation that works fine?

tried to update the network card to latest update - same.
    restored to previous driver, same.

    Hi and welcome

It probably inst the tcpip patch, nore than likely you are using homegroup and IPv6. IPv6 is known to suase random drops, hangs, slow conects etc. If you are using homegroup yo can change it to workgroup and disable IPv6. IPv4 is more stabile and easier to configure.

    Hope this helps

i restored the TCPIP to its original state, didn't help.
i have a static IPv4, IPv6 is disabled in my adapter settings.
still getting the high ping :\
i'll try a different lan cable and update.
