no internet

    no internet


    hey, i installed windows 7 ultimate, and got everything working but internet -.-
    i conect my modem by usb, and after installed windows i thought that the controlles will be installed like in vista, but didnt happend, and now i dont have internet, wat can i do ?

    Please, do the minimum... completely fill out your system specs so we have something to go on ... that or call your tech support @35.00 per 1/2 hour...

    Now you see how easy that was

    you can go here Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC and pick the version that you need (32 bit or 64). that needs to be installed and your computer rebooted.

    Let us know if that doesn't work

    thats better .. if you open the device manager, does it show a driver installed, or is there a yellow triangle where the NIC section is?

    Download the latest driver and extract it to your desktop...go into device manager, uninstall your present driver, then install the driver on your desktop... reboot and if everything went well, you should bd in business....
