Do you know your authentication method to the site?

Windows 7 doesn't support WebDAV using HTTP Basic Authentication. You need to use Digest Authentication.

Alternatively there are freeware and non free WebDAV clients out there you could use, although they don't tend to integrate into Windows Explorer quite so nicely as the built in Windows client.

    Hope this helps.

It depends on the websites authentication methods.

I'm not talking from experience here either as I haven't done this myself, but researching the issue across google there are many sites that states Windows built in implementation of WebDAV is "strange" at best and most recommend using an alternate WebDAV client.

I'm not sure I can help you any further on this.
