Windows 7: Can't connect the wireless net?

Hi guys this is my first post my laptop have installed the latest Windows 7 system but can't use the wireless net i don't know why,i the laptop can identify the wireless net but when i click the button it said can't connect the wireless right now who can help me?And if i need to install the drivers for my wireless card ?mine laptop style is ASUS F83SE,and i live in a university so there are wireless signal but not very strong i used to use my brother's laptop it's a lenovo g550 and install the xp sys it can connect the wireless net without the password but my Windows 7 can't do it i really don't know why

You can see if you need to dl the driver by typing device manager in search. go to the networking tab and look to see if your device is listed. If it isnt or if it is there and has yellow on it you will need the driver. You can get the driver here Download asus f83se driver for xp Files from General-search. You can use the vista driver they have listed.

Thank you for your advise but i can't find my device listed on the search result and you mean i should try to download f83se driver for xp right? ok i will have a try on another website
