Acer 5534 wireless conection netgear

    Acer 5534 wireless conection netgear


    I just bought an Acer 5534 (with win 7 ) that connects ok using the ethernet cable. However when I try the wireless it sees the network but it can connect to it. All other computers at home connect ok. The router is a netgear wgr614v7. Any suggestions?

    remove the ethernet cable - reboot and wait for the OS to sort things out
    it may take a few minutes..

    Thanks, did the reboot again today and still no luck. I have changed the drivers twice already.

    Thanks, did the reboot again today and still no luck. I have changed the drivers twice already.
    MAC address access was on in the router. Now it works!!!

Well, i also have the Win7. I can connect with Ethernet without any problems. When i atepmt to connect using the wireless Belkin desktop card. i get this problem found by the Windows Network Diagnostics...(Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration) marked as 'not fixed'...
