Windows 7 - Dell Docking Station Cancels Wireless Connection

Have a Dell Precision M2300 laptop. Did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium. Wireless connectivity is excellent to Belkin N+ router (or to DLink 615 router). As soon as I try and dock laptop in either a Dell D/Dock or Dell port replicator. The wireless connectivity is reduced to poor or not at all. Laptop worked very well with D/Dock and Port replicator when XP was the OS. So how do I fix this problem or is there another hardware solution? I was thinking about using an ethernet cable from the port replicator to a wireless connection device and using that as a means of keeping a strong signal to the router (basically shutting wireless off when docked). Or ... not.
