Windows 7: xp cant find router, 7 pro 64 does ?

I have a dual boot setup 2 hdd, 7 pro 64 bit and xp pro sp3 problem is, the xp cant find my network (linksys wrt320n router/ wmp600n adaptor)?? the 7 finds it and hooks right up......

It has been a while since I ran XP, so can you open a command prompt. in it type ipconfig /all. make a screen shot of it using the built in snipping tool (type snipping in search) and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip) see pics

thanks for the quick response, don't i have to get that info in xp? on 7 now....how would i get to that on xp with no internet?

I also found Windows 7 to be markedly better at finding and binding to network equipment. XP (for me) was always less durable especially with wireless connections.

Start at the beginning (Device Manager) and make sure you still have XP drivers in there etc. Then view your Network Connections, ipconig .. release renew, etc., and if you still don't have a connection move on to the netsock stack. Rebooting always helped my XP system for some reason.
