SBS 2008 and Windows 7

I have a client who has had one user upgrade to Windows 7. The problem: User can log on to the workplace by vpn thru a sonicwall nsa240 and gets issued an IP address which coincides with the workplace IP scheme but can not access any network resources. The windows 7 client is using a different IP than the workplace setup. Does this sound like a windows 7 firewall setting? Thanks,
Jerry
