Windows 7: MacBook Pro Can't Re-Connect to Wireless Network

If I take my laptop to a coffee shop and connect to it's public network, then I come back home and attempt to reconnect wirelessly to my home network, it won't reconnect. It sees the SSID being broadcast, and it tries to reconnect, but it can't do it. If I shut the machine down, unplug the modem and router, then turn everything back on again it connects fine, but I have to do that every time I come home from the cafe. I have other computers connected to the network, so I doubt the modem and router are the problem. Plus when I had XP on this same machine, it reconnected just fine.

According to Wikipedia, I have a Broadcom BCM4322 chipset wireless network adapter. Device Manager says I'm running version 5.10.38.26 of the driver. I was going to try updating the driver, but I can't seem to find a Windows 7 driver on the Broadcom website. In fact I couldn't locate drivers for BCM4322 on their site at all.

Set the lease time on the router to its maximum allowed.

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe I'm given the option to set the lease time for the router. I can see when the lease was obtained and when it expires. It appears that it's factory set at 24hr intervals, but I don't appear to be able alter it.

I just updated the firmware, maybe that will help. Any other ideas in the interim are apprecaited.

It would be in DHCP settings, if at all.
