    Asus Notebook g72gx wont

This laptop can't see any wireless networks. (where it has been able to connect before)

the wireless switch is enabled, and when I try to turn the switch on and off, the icon doesn't specify whether or not its actually on or off. My router is broadcasting the signal because three of my other wireless devices (ipod touch, acer 10'' laptop, iPad ) can connect to the wireless network. I ran a system recovery to try and reset any configurations that could be causing problems, and even after the system recovery the problem persists.

Any extra advice would be appreciated.

Sorry if I forgot to mention anything and I'll answer with another post

One possibility is that the WiFi on the laptop is defunct. I had that problem with an HP laptop. I fixed it with a Netgear WiFi dongle which costs only a few Dollars. I chose the Netgear dongle because I have a Netgear router.
