Windows 7 as a Server Software for VPN
Can I use Windows 7 Professional as the server software for a VPN? My office upgraded to Windows 7, but I can't establish a VPN connection from home. The office topology is as follows: Internet to Router to Switch to Multiple Office Desktop Computers. Do I need to designate one of the desktops as the server for our static IP address, or will Windows 7 Pro accept an incoming VPN connection without the designation? If I need to designate a desktop, does it need to be between the router and the switch? Thanks in advance.
