Cannot view pcs or devices on network

    Good afternoon everyone!

I am having another problem with viewing devices on my network. Everyone is in a workgroup, I am able to ping the devices, but I cannot see them in my network. The network discovery is turned on, the password protected sharing is turned off.

I am running windows 7 HP. The pc is connected through an ethernet cable to a switch as the others are. I have NO antivirus program on this machine(will get that later).

    Any other information, just ask!

    Thanks,
    Sarah

I know I know. Today has been a day. But I appreciate all the help. I figured it was something small.

    Thanks Wally (*tear*)

    We've all done similar.

    Part of the computing experience...
