Sage are you working in a homegroup or a workgroup?

In a workgroup you can see if something is shared by the two people in the lower left corner of the icon. For folders its just in your public folder.

My issues is a simple browse the drive a folder shared is not as visable as the hand was. There does not seem to be a place I am aware of where a person can go and see active shares via explorer.

You can also see the shares if you right click My Computer and select Manage than open the share folders option. Useful for seeing all the shares and checking out any files that happen to be open. It's a shame they took the hand away though, it was really handy.
