    windows 7 wireless problems

I updated Vista to Windows 7 yesterday on my Dell Inspeion 15 computer. I can connect to my router by cable but not by wireless. I get a message that "Windows can not connect to my router" and the wireless status is "Limited Access". Can anyone help.

    Hi Joe and welcome

Several possible causes, more likely the wifi driver. type device manager in search and go to the network tab. Is the wifi device listed? does it have a yellow triangle on it? Are there any other "unknown" devices with yellow on them?

I had a problem with my wireless because I had not put the encryption key number in the system. If you had you wireless encrypted before, be sure and enter the key in Win 7.
