Poor Wireless Connection
Anyone have poor reception from your router to wireless card? Check out this video: [ame="http://www.metacafe.com/watch/720362/how_to_boost_wi_fi_range_with_a_homemade_parabolic_reflector/"]How To Boost Wi-Fi Range With A Homemade Parabolic Reflector - Video[/ame]
I have my USB wireless dongle on a 3' USB extension cable with a base. I built the aluminum foil dish, and after a bit of maneuvering (about 2" behind the dongle, and pointing it around to get the best signal) my connection percentage jumped from 55% to 90%! I hope this helps others.
