Network Issue when streaming to PS3

I'm attempting to set up PS3 Media Server on my PC running Windows 7. Here's how the setup is right now:

PC is connected to modem/router. PS3 is connected wirelessly.

I can't see the PC on the PS3 but I can see my girlfriend's laptop just fine. I was able to enable the option to allow sharing to the PS3 and resolved the issue on the PS3 not being able to access files.

In a way I have a feeling this has to do something with the fact that they are seeing each other due to the fact that they are on the wireless connection.

In any case, I can't see my PC on my PS3 and I need some help. Running Windows 7 x64.

    Thanks in advance.

My pc is connected to router. PS3 is connected wirelessly

    Here is my setup

Make sure Network Discovery, File and Printer Sharing, and Public Folder Sharing are all set to “on” and Password Protected Sharing is set to “off”.

Media sharing set to “on” and under Windows HomeGroup connections select “Allow Windows HomeGroup to manage homegroup connections (recommended)”.

I then use Windows Media Center to set up what files I will share in the Music and Videos.

My PS3 can see and play all my music and videos.

Your welcome. Sorry that didn't work for you though. I was hoping it was something in the 'media streaming options'

    as posted here
    Code:

Unless your firewall is blocking it.

Ive found what your looking for :D

I have trolled everyforum i can think of and found a solution.
Goto Downloads - ps3mediaserver - Project Hosting on Google Code
and download yourself a copy of PS3 Media Server.
I downloaded Version 1.10.51 and have not had a drama.
Glitch free streaming to the ps3.

Make sure PS3 is turned on when Opening the program and mine connected straight away. In the Navigation/Share Settings tab down the bottom of the page is where you add folders to have acsess to.

    Hope this works for you
