    Hi busboy,

Firstly, I admit that homegroup is not my forte; but I am happy to try and help and what better way to learn.

A question though, how do you know that homegroup is lost after a reboot? Could you please provide a screen print? (ALT+Tab or then paste to Paint).

    Hi busboy,
Open the Network and Sharing Center, by right clicking on the network icon at the bottom right of the taskbar.
Click on change advance setttings (top left).
    - Check that network discovery is turned on.
If you are sharing files an public folders turn them on too.

Great, at least we ticked that box

Let's check if your libraries are shared correctly with your homegroup.
    Share libraries with your homegroup

Another thought is that your firewall may be blocking something that we don't know yet. You could try stopping it from loading when you reboot next time to check this.
