Windows 7 - network printing issue

| | network printing issue My default printer (HP K550) is connected to the network via cable to the router. From time to time my main desktop registers the printer as Offline, even though it is clearly addressed via the DHCP in the router (192.168.2.4). Why does Windows 7 put it Offline ? Secondarily, I'm wondering if this somehow relates to my inability to set up a Homegroup on this computer. The Homegroup troubleshooter always say its a network issue, though it is never able to identify the nature of the problem. |
