Windows 7: Win7 internet connection No valid IP?

Hi i have installed Windows 7 on my pc but i cant get online. I only get no network connection and unknown network.
I have tried troubleshooting and I get no valip ip adress.
Is my Nvidia Nforce networking controller not compatible with Windows 7??
or is there a driver update i can get?
please help I need my internet ;-)

We might be of more use if you filled in your system specs (lower left corner of your posts) so that we know what hardware you have see pic

If you want to check your network driver type device manager in search go to the network tab and right click>properties. It should show your correct controller and working properly

I have tried updating the nvidia nforce networking controller to version 67.8.3.1
But I have still the same problem.
Been out of internet since the last 4days now starting to get pissed
Anyone with ideas?

Are all your devices in Device Manager clean, that is no yellow exclamation marks. Betty still can u screen shot it?

I solved this problem with buying a ethernetcard för my pci-bus.
Nothing else I could do. I had updated to latest version of nvidia nforce networking controller but it still did not work.
The new ethernet card was identified by Windows 7 och started working directly witout problem......
