I can not connect to wifi

This is the net book I upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 32-bit.
Asus Eee PC 900HD - ProductWiki unbiased product reviews

It shows available networks, but when I try to connect it says "windows was unable to connect to network". I tried using Windows network diagnostics to try and fix it, but it didn't work. I also tried resetting my router and removing the password from my network, but those didn't work either.

I am able to connect with an Ethernet cord though.

Hi and welcome

Might be your wifi driver. type device manager in search. go to the networking tab, is your wifi device listed? does it have a yellow triangle over it? is there any other "unknown" devices with yellow triangles on them?

How strong is the signal you are trying to connect to?

The signal is full bars, I can't connect to my school's public wifi either.

Is networking tab, network adapters? If so I do not see any yellow triangles on anything and yes, I can see the wifi device listed.

Try creating a secure wireless network (ie with WEP/WPA authentication) and have Windows 7 tried connecting to it.

What is your router?

When hit "Connect", did it prompted you to put in your WEP/WPA key?

Well if it prompt u for the WPA key, and u put in the correct one, i can't see what the problem is.

Have you tried resetting your router?
