Windows 7 to OSX and back again
Hello everyone, new user here. I've been googling for a few days trying to find a fix for my problem, with no luck so far...
I have a windows 7 ultimate 64 desktop hard wired to my router. I just upgraded it from xp a few weeks ago. Also connected to the network is an XP pro machine, via wire. Finally there is my macbook pro, connected wirelessly.
Prior to upgrading my desktop to 7, I was able to connect my mac to the network and file share with no problems. Since upgrading to 7, I cannot.
On my windows 7 pc, i can see the xp pc, and on the mac i can see the xp pc. But i cannot connect (or even have the Windows 7 pc and mac see each other) the 7 pc and the macbook for the life of me. I already tried going into the advanced network settings and changed a couple of the connectivity options that everyone said would fix the problem, but it didnt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont feel like running my flash drive back and forth between the 2 computers ten thousand times to transfer all my files.
